Folding bike by MINI

This lime-colored foldable bicycle by MINI caught my attention when visiting Santogal's MINI Store.

The similarity between this bicycle and the DAHON ones intrigued me, so I went home and searched the web for answers. It results that it is not a DAHON, but almost! According to Andrew Kim of Minimally Minimal, it is a Tern Link Uno with a few modifications. Tern was founded in 2011 by ex-wife and son of the founder of DAHON... Hence the resemblance between the two.

Designed to fit in the trunk of a MINI, as can be seen here, this bike weighing only 11 kg, has eight gears, a 20" wheel and an aluminum frame, is perfect for those who want to combine a good and functional bike with very cool aesthetics.

No one will go unnoticed in traffic with this bike, but one may also opt for the more discreet black version, where the lime color appears only in the Teflon© chain and the bell.

For those who want a stylish bike but for whom cycling Lisbon’s hills is a challenge, stay tuned to our blog! ;)
